Farewell To The Frontier is a two-hour (with an intermission) multi-media concert presentation combining song, stories, poetry and visuals to commemorate a segment of the history and legacies we inherited in Alberta.
 
Following the end of the fur trade and the decimation of the buffalo herds, there came an influx of cattle, cowboys, ranches, immigrants and settlements.  Jim's songwriting follows this transition with his songwriting and stories from cattle drives and roundups to today's western lifestyles.  Audiences will hear the wind, smell the sage and feel the trail-dust through melodic songwriting and dynamic visual compnonent with over 500 vibrant photos, artwork and graphics that augment the colorful lyrics of every song and poem.
